This Ibiza season kicks off with the introduction of a brand new hotel: Hyde Ibiza.

The brand was born from the LA club scene of the 2000s and takes that identity and blends that with the distinctly Mediterranean vibes of the White Isle. Most importantly, Hyde Ibiza is geared specifically for the clubbers flocking to the Balearic island. The hotel’s launch lined up neatly with this year’s International Music Summit, where DJs, producers, labels and industry figures descended on the island, many of them checking in at the Hyde.

The 401-room hotel is tucked into the rolling green hills overlooking the crystal water at Cala Llonga Bay. Set aside enough that you can get a good night’s sleep, it’s still a short shot over to clubs like Pacha and DC-10.

Kicking off IMS and Hyde’s launch, Defected regular and mainstay in London’s clubbing scene, Hilit Kolet oversaw the poolside party for a house-heavy selection under the sun as the IMS got underway. Speaking of which, the Hyde hotel is as much an outpost for the White Isle’s raving shenanigans as it is a chance to escape the pounding bass, offering that sweet spot for revellers and escapists alike.
