Are you a BIPOC woman working in the arts and entertainment industry based in Melbourne? If so, The Dream Collective and Bittersweet Studios have curated the perfect event for you.

On June 4, author and journalist Simone Amelia Jordan will join Bittersweet podcast host and producer Wintana Kidane for her first Melbourne event, celebrating her prize-winning memoir, Tell Her She’s Dreamin' (Hachette Australia).

It's set to be an electrifying evening as Simone and Wintana engage in a candid discussion about hip-hop, culture, and women's empowerment. This is your chance to ask questions and connect with like-minded individuals. There will also be a book signing and light refreshments served.

The event will mark the launch of Jordan’s initiative, The Dream Collective, an event series for diverse women in the arts and entertainment. The program empowers culturally and racially marginalised women in the creative sector, including those with intersecting identities, through networking and mentoring at all career levels.

All ticket sales from the event will be donated to Palestine Australia Relief & Action. You can purchase tickets here—don’t lack!
