Dennis Hof, the owner of the famed Bunny Ranch brothel, has died at the age of 72.
According to TMZ, Hof was found unresponsive Tuesday morning at his Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada. Nye County Sheriff's Office confirmed the death via social media. Though an investigation continues, authorities said they do not suspect foul play.
The Bunny Ranch was the subject of HBO's docuseries Cathouse, and has been frequented by countless celebrities. The Love Ranch, one of six brothels owned by Hof, was the setting of Lamar Odom's near fatal overdose in 2015.
Hof's death occurred just weeks before the midterm elections, in which he was supposed to go head-to-head with Democratic candidate Lesia Romanov. The businessman won the primary for Nevada State Assembly back in June, ousting a three-term lawmaker in the Republican primaries.

According to the Reno Gazette Journal, Hof spent Monday night celebrating his 72nd birthday with conservative figures like former Arizona sheriff and Joe Arpaio.
"We had a wonderful event last night. He was having the time of his life last night. Grover Norquist was there," Hof's campaign manager, Chuck Muth, told the RGJ. "Ron Jeremy was there. He was given a rescue dog as a birthday present. He was having the time of his life."
Election officials have yet to announce how they'll proceed in wake of Hof's death.
