Two women robbed a Marshalls in California this week by using a taser to threaten the discount store's security guard.

TMZ reports the robbery took place on Wednesday afternoon at a Marshalls in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles. As seen in a video obtained by the outlet, the pair of thieves attempt to flee the store with a cart full of stolen items, when they are confronted by a security guard.

The situation escalates from there, with one of the women pulling out a taser and threatening the security guard with the weapon. A tug-of-war ensues, as one of the thieves warns the man not to stop them from leaving the store. "You can't touch us," she is heard yelling.

From there, the security guard stands down, as the two women hustle away toward their car, where the pair loaded the stolen goods and took off.

Although it's unclear if the security guard was tased, witnesses told TMZ that the man appeared to have injured during the altercation. "A witness tells us the guard also seemed to have been injured," the outlet noted.

TMZ added, "Law enforcement sources tell us the two women were long gone by the time cops got to the scene, but the incident is being investigated as a robbery because the Taser is a weapon."
