Getro Gelin, 27, had an interesting answer when he was questioned by police about the Glock 21 pistol, semi-automatic rifle, and bulletproof kevlar vest they found after searching his Porsche SUV in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

They apparently belonged to John Wick, the fictional assassin that Keanu Reeves plays in the popular film franchise that's named after the very deadly character.

The search went down after a woman called police to report that she was shoved by Gelin and threatened with a gun. Authorities reportedly arrived at his home and were tipped by the woman that Gelin had firearms in his vehicle. According to documents obtained by The Smoking Gun, police said that Gelin told them "he had sold the Porsche to his cousin John Wick." Gelin later fessed up and told the cops that "he lied about the name, but that he would not reveal his cousin’s name."

His John Wick answer, and subsequent backtracking, unsurprisingly, didn't work out too well and the man was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery. He's being held at the local county jail with bond set at $3,500.

In other John Wick news, the fourth film in the franchise is tentatively scheduled to hit theaters on May 21, 2021.
