Florida police found more than they bargained for during a routine traffic stop.

Last month, a man was pulled over when he didn’t pause at a stop sign around 9:40 p.m. Joseph Zak’s car was still in motion when a cop saw the man making “furtive movements, leaning over towards the center console as attempting to discard an item out the passenger window,” The Smoking Gun reports.

When Zak’s sedan came to a stop, the officer walked up to the vehicle and saw the suspect trying to hide an open can of Budweiser. When searching the car, the cop found a glass crack pipe and a clear baggie, “with a whitish residue, which tested positive for crack cocaine.”

When asked about the baggie, Zak said it wasn’t his and that “the police or the wind must have placed it there.”

Zak was arrested on multiple charges and is scheduled for a Dec. 3 arraignment.

In other strange Florida-related news, a black labrador retriever hopped into its owner's car while it was running, put it in reverse, and did donuts for an hour in his owner’s cul-de-sac. After smashing a mailbox and hitting some garbage cans, the car slowed down, and when the police opened the door, the dog jumped out of the driver’s seat, its tail reportedly wagging.
