Kanye No Longer Accepting Advice (Even From People as Successful as He Is)

Kanye West has updated his stance outlined on 'Ye,' "I don't take advice from people less successful than me." He no longer accepts advice from anyone regardless of success level.

Advice? Pfft, who needs it?

Not Kanye apparently, because Mr. West tweeted out on Thursday that’s he’s done taking it from anyone. “I’m not taking no advice for the rest of my life,” he wrote.

Our previous update in this area of West-World came via Ye's "No Mistakes": "I don't take advice from people less successful than me."

By now, we should all know Kanye isn't the kind of man who likes doing what he’s told or being pressured to act a certain way. This has given us some of Ye’s best moments—like when he called out George Bush following Katrina and said he doesn’t care about black people—and some of his worst, such as professing his love for Donald Trump and saying they’re both “dragon energy.”

He expressed a similar sentiment earlier Thursday, tweeting, “I hate talking about things I’m supposed to talk about.”

Like many of Kanye’s tweets, these come out of the blue with little context. Is he talking about something having to do with G.O.O.D. Music, or a conversation he had with Kim? Could he be concerned about the next Yeezy drop, or contemplating his political leanings? Who knows, and chances are, we never will.

In the meantime, if you’re still riding for Kanye after the events of this year, you can sit and wait for his forthcoming collaboration with Chance the Rapper, listen to him share some bars with ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg, or imagine what a Kanye-produced porn would be like. Cheers!
