ROA—the Italian footwear label renowned for its expertly crafted, hiking-inspired silhouettes—has just unveiled its first apparel collection, an offering that is arguably one of 2022’s best releases so far.
Founded in 2015, ROA’s forthcoming delve into apparel marks a new chapter for the brand. First previewed during Milan Fashion Week earlier this year, each piece from the collection has been developed in the same way as the brand’s footwear: by balancing both form and function. Dressed in an outdoor-inspired colour pallette, standouts include a flurry of outwear—such as shell jackets, boxy fleece zip-ups and puffer jackets—all of which highlight the brand’s signature technical expertise.
Other notable pieces include a two-tone knitted long sleeve top, which arrives alongside an array of slouchy bottoms, vests, and short sleeve tees. Select garments are crafted with hidden zipper pockets, adjustable hoods, ROA branding and other technical details that elevate them to a higher degree.
