Renowned British premium audio brand Bowers & Wilkins has announced the launch of its most premium headphones to date—the Px8.

The electronics company—more commonly known as B&W—was founded 60 years ago, and has become renowned for its high-performance speakers and, more recently, headphones. After launching its multi-award-winning Px7 S2 model earlier this year, the Px8 now offers a similar experience, but with even better sound quality, design and finish.

Inspired by the Carbon Dome drive units used in the brand’s previous 700 Series loudspeaker range, the Px8’s new Carbon Cones boast an unrivalled mixture of ultra-fast response plus exceptionally low distortion. The result is resolution, detail and timing that surpasses the high bar set by it’s older models, ensuring that listeners are able to get even more engaging and natural musical performance than ever before.

And just like the Px7 S2, the Carbon Cone drive units in the device are also carefully angled inside each earcup to ensure a consistent distance relative to the listener’s ear, creating the best sound quality ever delivered from a pair of wireless headphones.

The Px8 will be available to buy from September 28 via the Bowers & Wilkins webstore.
