Denim Tears has just dropped a “Core” collection that includes some of the label’s most memorable releases from the last couple years. Hoodies and T-shirts featuring a still of Sinead O’Connor’s infamous 1992 Saturday Night Live performance is altered to show the singer ripping up an image of Jesus Christ. Other graphics revived for Tremaine Emory’s latest drop includes Denim Tears’ reinterpretation of the 17th-century ‘Daniel in the Lions’ Den’ painting by Peter Paul Rubens. Trucker hats featuring various logos from the brand are also available in red, orange, black, and dark green colors. A full zip-up hoodie with a Denim Tears “African Diaspora Goods” logo embroidered on the chest and printed on a large Tyvek patch sewn on the back is also available in black and grey.
