Kim Jones Is Reissuing Favorite Pieces From His Namesake Brand for a Limited Time

Last month, Jones announced his departure from Louis Vuitton.

Kim Jones is reissuing personal favorites from his namesake brand.

Jones, who announced his departure from Louis Vuitton earlier this year, revealed the reissue plans in a special Valentine's Day message on Instagram Wednesday. The reissue marks the 10th anniversary of Jones' last namesake collection and will be done in conjunction with Japanese retailer G.U. The pieces will be available "in select countries," and only for a limited time. See Jones' post below.

Jones spent eight seasons designing for his namesake label, which debuted at Paris Fashion Week back in 2004. In 2008, Jones joined Alfred Dunhill as Creative Director before eventually landing at Louis Vuitton in 2011 as style director for the brand's men's ready-to-wear campaigns.

"Thank you @louisvuitton for 7 wonderful years!" Jones, quoting a news report about his departure, said in January. "You really have been the best and I am grateful to @themarcjacobs for giving me the opportunity to be here in the first place!"

For his final Louis Vuitton show in Paris, Jones was joined by Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Their appearances on the runway, Jones later noted, was a nod to Jacobs' LV days.
