Marc Jacobs changed the shopping experience when the designer first opened the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop this past February. Now the brand is bringing its innovative marketing model overseas with a new pop-up in London’s Convent Garden.
So what makes this shop different from its surrounding stores? First off, no money will be exchanged. Instead, customers will pay for goods using social currency. By snapping a few pictures of the store or product and tweeting with the hashtag #MJDaisyChain, people can walk away with new Marc Jacobs Daisy items. The concept allows you to have influencer perks, even if you only have one hundred Twitter followers.
The London outpost of the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop will be open starting Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and will run until Sunday, Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
