We had to get up super early (read: 10am) on Saturday morning in order to see visvim's F/W 15 presentation. What a fucking hassle, amirite? Fortunately, it was totally worth it. What I think people tend to forget about Hiroki and crew is that visvim seriously makes so much stuff. Like, there we were, in a huge studio, and there were racks lining the walls filled with so many handmade, one-of-a-kind garments. Then, in the middle, a selection of shoes and accessories that were just as legendary. WWD got a look at visvim's F/W 15 lookbook and it's great to see all the stuff on an actual model. But as with most visvim, photos do this collection so little justice. You see the tees with the colorful designs smattered all over them? Those are pretty cool. They're also hand drawn and painted by retired artists. What an incredible flex. The umbrella? It's indigo-dyed, of course. How effective it would be at keeping you dry, we're not entirely sure. The fluffy blue jacket? All those fringe details were knotted by hand. And how about that world-crushing noragi/MA-1 hybrid? Pure fucking banger, right? It's really incredible how much detail each of these pieces actually do have. Of course, we can't forget the fact that there are also ELK LEATHER FBTS that are softer than Drake. START. SAVING. NOW.
