We love Engineered Garments around here. Obviously. There are currently 128 posts on this website with that unfuckwittable EG tag. Clearly, our love for the brand and the signature aesthetic it has cultivated runs very deep. It's also a breeding ground for very talented people. The most recent of which to strike out on their own is Dominic Sondag, who started at EG in 2012 after relocating from London. His new brand s.k. manor hill debuts its collection for S/S 16 with some super lightweight and breezy pieces made for the warmer months and you can see some of the bloodline that runs from EG. Sondag mostly wants his new clothes to be comfortable. That means generous cuts, but also using exclusively natural fibers that stay in that sort of tan and taupe-y earth tone family. Thankfully, S/S 16 isn't totally granola or anything. Navy blue cotton gets a radical treatment that gives it a nylon feel, but remains 100% cotton. s.k. manor hill will be stocked in the likes of Unionmade, C'H'C'M' and at a Nepenthes pop-up, while also doing its own ecommerce. You're gonna want to keep this firmly on your radar. Remember where you heard it first.
