To ring in the holidays, Comme des Garçons has a collection on deck that is set to brighten up any sort of winter blues that you may be experiencing. Comme des Garçons PLAY pieces in the collection of T-shirts, cardigans, backpacks and tote bags comes either done-up in all red or at least with a splash of it. It's a yearly project that Comme des Garçons founder Rei Kawakubo has been doing for a while.
This year, CdG also brought in a couple collaborators. Gucci and its creative director Alessandro Michele made a small run of five different silk scarves that feature both the brands' names, floral patterning, and a red spot in the middle. It's not often that you see two extremely high-level fashion brands come together on a single project like this.
