Contemporary menswear label Wax London has just dropped off the first installment of its Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Known for its Scandi-meets-British aesthetic, the latest offering comprises a host of transitional pieces which take inspiration from the idea of people coming together, embracing nature, and experiencing life’s simple pleasures.
Highlighting the drop is the brand’s versatile Whiting Overshirts, which have been designed to be worn alongside other items or as a standalone item. The garment is constructed from recycled yarns made by a family-run French mill, while the shape is emphasised by a pair of front pockets and eco-friendly Corozo nut buttons. Describing the silhouette as an “all year round staple,” Wax London’s overshirt is available in several colourways—including “Beige Ombre”, “Navy/Khaki Mountain” and “Grey/Orange Madras”.
Breezy linen blazers and pre-faded hoodies accompany the hero piece, along with ‘50s-inspired Naples Polos crafted with waffle stripe detailing, tapered trousers, pinstripe tees, rugby shirts and quilted outerwear.
“Join us in getting back to nature, with the first of three SS22 drops,” reads a statement from the brand, inspired by dangling trees, soft monet leaves, and sundapple streams of sunlight.”
