London-based menswear label Percival is continuing to blur the lines between sports and streetwear with a brand new partnership.

Building on its Country Club-inspired collaboration with Slazenger, the contemporary studio has now turned its attention to the world of football with a selection of heritage-inspired sporting ‘fits. Teaming up with sports equipment manufacturer Umbro, The Academy Of Footballing Excellence capsule continues Percival’s goal of subverting classic menswear staples.

Designed with a playful aesthetic in mind, the new range aims to offer something for everyone, ranging from training polos and tees to a Mediocre Footy Skills scarf for the fan on the sideline, and a versatile tracksuit crafted for both the pitch and the stands.

Arguably the standout is the co-branded football jersey, arriving with geometric patterns and a large Perci print. Trench coats and knitwear also further the offering, the latter of which has been made to house Umbro crests along with large embroidery and loopback fabrications.

You can cop the ‘The Academy Of Footballing Excellence’ capsule collection both online and at Percival’s flagship Soho store from August 3.
