Japanese label nanamica has linked up with British lifestyle brand Monocle for a raglan sleeve cruiser jacket that arrives in perfect time for the transitional season.

Drawing on US Army ECWCS Jacket as inspiration, the limited edition item is constructed using a 3L Cotton Twill GORE-TEX fabric, a stiff material that is comprised of a GORE-TEX membrane sandwiched between both cotton—on the front—and nylon tricot on the reverse.

Offering windproof and waterproof capabilities, the jacket also allows moisture to escape from inside of clothing, protecting the wearer from sudden cold, rain, and wind as well as fluctuations in temperature. In addition, by using cotton on the outside of the material, not only does the jacket remain functional but it also boasts the natural texture and properties that derive from cotton.

The jacket is completed with a security pocket across the chest and a pair of waist pockets that double up as hand warmers. Inside, there are two large pockets that boast excellent storage capabilities and a co-branded nanamica x Monocle tag.

The nanamica x MONOCLE GORE-TEX Cruiser Jacket will be available to cop from both the nanamica webstore and Monocle webstore on February 27.nanamica-monocle-2nanamica-monocle-3nanamica-monocle-1nanamica-monocle-4
