South London-born fried chicken institution Morley’s has joined forces with condiment label Heinz to present a month-long pop-up at The Standard in London.
Launching from August 7 through to September 3, the collaboration will offer a reimagined take on Morley’s’ famous, family-owned chicken recipes and an limited edition Fried Chicken Sauce.
Guests at the pop-up will be invited to indulge in a range of mouthwatering options, including Popcorn Chicken or cauliflower, served with a choice of Heinz Sweet Chilli or Smoky Chipotle sauces for a delightful combination of textures and tastes. As for deserts, the menu includes The Standard’s take on Morley’s’ hot apple pie, along with drinks such as a Frozen Mango Margarita with a spicy salt rim, boozy Coke Float, and Grape Soda with vodka, cinnamon and lime.
Known for hosting some of the city’s most exciting cultural residencies and events, diners visiting the pop-up will also have the option to enjoy Morley’s’ new al fresco on the wrap-around summer terrace at The Double Standard, The Standard’s ground floor diner and bar, available to dine in and takeaway.
“This is a really fun moment for us,” Shan Selvendran, co-owner of Morley’s, said. We just celebrated our 100th store opening in Brighton, and partnering with two global brands, Heinz and The Standard—recognised for being best in class—only strengthens our family’s business ethos of Morley’s to bring the best fried chicken taste, with extra spice, to all.”
