Maxime Fruit’s eponymous label has given a first look at its Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
The new seasonal capsule builds on the brand’s home-inspired narrative and explores the idea of objects serving as fragments of a story, with a lookbook featuring an idylic backdrop to accentuate the influence.
Throughout the collection, the London-based label brings together elegant print, colours and textiles to create a range of pieces suitable for the changing seasons. Embracing the whimsy, romantic and creative spirit that define the brand’s aesthetic, the offering includes crochet shirts and jumpers in soft colours and monochrome palettes, as well as a matching coat and shirt set made from Pearl-like satin textured nylon.
Standouts include the signature MAXIME car coat, which has been reimagined mirroring the texture of straw, and full-length classic black tailored wool coat. Wide-leg trousers—designed with comfortability in mind—and playful antique pottery drawings are also added to the mix, while a horse-themed T-shirt furthers the whimsical nod of the overall collection design style.
Finishing things off with a selection of leather bags, a Mary Jane and elevated formal-style shoe round out the collection, with the latter available in “Onyx Black” and “Cacao Brown”.
