Levi’s and BEAMS are back with the latest installment of their ongoing partnership that began in 2019. Dubbed The Super Wide Collection, the collaborative drop once again utilises the denim label’s classic Americana influences and reimagines it through a Japanese lens.
The seasonal capsule sees classic Levi’s pieces, including Levi’s x BEAMS jeans, truckers and a pocket tee, stretched out into a super-wide version.
The highlight from the duo’s offering is arguably The Denim Trucker—a modified version of the Type I Trucker—which has been redesigned into a baggier, oversized fit. Complementing the jacket is a baggy version of Levi’s straight-leg jeans, which features super-wide pockets and a button fly.
Both denim pieces from the collection feature a special stretched-out BEAMS version of the classic back patch, while co-branded elements include a special Levi’s Red Tab, with the traditional red Levi’s version on the front and the BEAMS brand orange on the back, and a special selvedge with BEAMS orange stitching—instead of red—on selvedge seams of the jeans and the Trucker.
Rounding off the collection is a vintage-style pocket tee, which features an oversized pocket on the chest, and a graphic print version of the aforementioned back patch.
A vintage-inspired faded wash version of the Trucker and the jeans along with the pocket tee is available through both Levi’s and BEAMS, while a dark indigo rinse version of the Trucker and the jeans will be available exclusively through BEAMS.
