KENZO and Levi’s have joined forces for a Fall/Winter 2023 denim capsule that seamlessly fuses the rich, cultural heritages of the Parisian-Japanese fashion house and the iconic American apparel company.

Comprising approximately twenty, meticulously-crafted garments and accessories, primarily made from Kaihara Japanese denim, the offering includes a series of ready-to-wear options for both men and women. Styles include tailoring, custom 501 jeans and embroidered shirts, while standout selections span from fringed jackets and dungarees to paisley bandanas.

The East-meets-West philosophy underpinning the debut collab is brought to life in a campaign set against the backdrop of Kyoto. Teaming up with Japanese filmmaker Umi Ishihara, and Ryu Ika—an Inner Mongolian photographer known for her signature everyday perspective—the project takes place across two sansou villas in Kyoto and features an ensemble cast, including Abas Abdirazaq, Hayato, Masato Eun, Peipei, Sen Ping and Shun, who bring a diverse and dynamic energy to the project.

You can cop the collection now from KENZO boutiques worldwide, select retailers, and at kenzo.com and levi.com.
