After linking up with Fred Perry for a collaborative pair of Weejuns early this year, G.H. Bass returns for Fall/Winter 2022 with two vegan takes on its classic Weejun Loafer.

Known for introducing the first ever penny loafer back in 1936, G.H. Bass & Co. is renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship and expert eye for detail in the world of casual footwear. Jumping onto the scene in 1876, the heritage footwear brand has been worn by both presidents and Hollywood legends alike, while also collaborating with brands like Universal Works and Engineered Garments.

Made from Desserto®—a plant-based leather developed in Mexico from nopal cactus leaves—each colourway features stitched seams in a tonal waxy thread and a classic chunky ‘90s design. Showcased through a campaign shot by Lauren Maccabee, the Cactus Leather Loafers boast the very best in innovation and design with details including a cactus leather footbed, lightweight black lug EVA outsole, and finally, a mini storm welt.

Get a closer look at the Cactus Leather Loafer campaign in the shots below and cop both colourways now via the G.H. Bass webstore.
