JAELIZA has just launched its Extrospect collection for Fall/Winter 2022.
Based on the brand’s debut collection, AELIZA now flips the conversation with an offering that builds on the idea of making sense of the world in front of you.
“We’re faced with two choices: to confront or to escape,” reads a press release from the label. “One being a more simplified format, thus being an illusion. The other being a more accepted format of the world’s complexities. The problem still stands...How do we navigate through this world?”
“We explore ways on how we make sense of it all. Through personal perception and dialogue with others to expand our peripherals.”
Introducing new colourways such as “Oxidised Yellow”, which seeks to overthrow the box fresh aesthetic that’s often associated with streetwear, the Fall/Winter 2022 offering hones in on inverted knits in order to highlight the fabrics used. Other additions including long sleeved, tees sweatpants, black knitted socks, and red gloves also feature, and have been dressed with one or both of AELIZA signature logos in various manners—for example, the individual hoodie features AELIZA’s symbol on the front, while an eye-catching two-piece co-ord features minimal AELIZA branding on the jacket chest and trouser legs.
