Stepping out with a sustainable focus, Studio ALCH presents their Autumn/Winter 2020 collection.

Taking to LFWM, Studio Alch presented the lastest strides forward in their ongoing approach to developing fashion that looks to minimise its environmental impact. An approach that took centre stage during Autumn/Winter 2019 with the introduction of pieces such as the Nylon Shirt that featured two utilitarian zip-off carried bags within the main body, and the similiarly fashion Nylon Trackpants that featured four, Studio ALCH's sustainable steps have kept practicality at heart. For Autumn/Winter 2020 these design techniques have been maintained, setting the precident for further exploration of reconstructive techniques to establish a base of elevated classic silhouettes. Amongst utilitarian, multi-use pieces, traditional denim and jersey lines within the collection have been redesigned to be pattern cut from a single length of fabric with zero material waste. Further to this, the full collection has been produced entirely from recycled, organic or excess deadstock materials.
