Gloom and doom. That's English weather. Consistent downpour, and constant chatter about upcoming conditions, are par for the course. London design studio Troika gives all that visual representation in the hilarious insulation "The Weather Yesterday." The light installation, on view in Hoxton Square through September 9, 2012, joking pokes fun at British obsession with weather.
Hour by hour, the piece describes yesterday's weather, allowing passers by to compare with the moment. Funny and light hearted, and park of "The Playful City," this year's version of The London Festival of Architecture. [Dezeen]
