Designed by GH3, this stunning apartment and studio sits on the edge of Stone Lake in Toronto, Canada. The structure, based on the archetypal glass house, includes apartment, boathouse, and photographer's studio. Situated neatly on a dark granite supporting structure (which forms the boathouse), the glazed glass structure is adaptable to any temperature. Pretty sweet. [Dezeen]
