Based in Yokohama, the institution has also commissioned artist's to create lacquered versions of the iconic cup... dishwasher safe for everyday use. We've all seen the ceramic versions of the classic NYC paper coffee cup, this project takes that idea further — instead of literal translation of graphic, we get a beautiful rendition of form.
