The summer weather is scorching right now and shows no signs of slowing up. How about cooling off inside with some ice? Many of us won’t ever be able to drop the money needed to acquire a high quality, one-of-a-kind diamond necklace or a flashy timepiece with a six-figure retail price. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t still interesting to see what some of the most renowned jewelers in the world are cooking up for our favorite celebs on a weekly basis.
Some of the highlights from the past month included Rihanna's unique addition to her watch collection, Lil Uzi Vert's iced-out flash drive, and Pharrell's latest pair of custom shades. Take a closer look at some of the biggest celebrity jewelry purchases from June 2023 below.
Rihanna’s Watch Choker
Jeweler: Jacob and Co.
Flava Flav has been rocking giant clocks around his neck for decades, but Rihanna is the first person to ever rock a watch choker. She stepped out to the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2024 show in Paris rocking the Jacob and Co. creation. The $700,000 black crocodile leather choker features a 47-mm white gold Brilliant Flying Tourbillon set with 368 diamonds. Few people could pull something like this off. Of course, Rihanna did easily.
Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘Pink Tape’ Flash Drive Keychain
Jeweler: Eliantte
Before June came to a close, Lil Uzi Vert finally released their long-anticipated album Pink Tape. We have all likely ran through the tracklist a few times by now. But before the drop, Uzi went to extreme measures to make sure nobody could leak the project. They wore the flash drive that stored the album around their neck. But we aren’t talking about some flash drive that you can go buy at Staples. They took it to Eliantte to cover it with pink diamonds. An upside-down diamond cross and diamond clasp completed the one-of-a-kind piece. This one isn't quite as insane as the multi-million dollar pink diamond they implanted into their forehead a few years ago, but we should always expect Uzi to show out when it comes to custom jewels.
Pharrell’s Sunglasses

Jeweler: Tiffany and Co.
Pharrell had a lot to celebrate in June. Everyone has been talking about his debut collection as the creative director of Louis Vuitton Men’s, but don’t forget about his looming project with another LVMH-owned brand, Tiffany and Co. Pharrell debuted a new pair of shades crafted with the brand during his final walk at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2024 presentation in Paris. Similar to the pair he has been spotted in for some time, these are made of 18k yellow gold and flooded with over 20 carats of diamonds. The main difference, the lenses are now positioned vertically to create a look more akin to a teardrop. Pharrell has been serious about his jewelry for decades. It's only right that he is still pushing the envelope when it comes to diamond-encrusted customs.
Future’s Trapper of the Year Ring
Jeweler: Icebox
TI’s Trap Music Museum in Atlanta hit up the city’s go-to jeweler, Icebox, to craft a special ring for its latest Trapper of the Year. This year's honors were given to Future. The ring is modeled similarly to a sports championship ring. Future’s Freebandz logo in red enamel is surrounded by red rubies on the face of the ring. More rubies are used to write out “FBG” on one side of the band, while the other sides display “Future” spelled out in rose gold and the official Trap Music Museum logo. The most unique feature is that the face of the ring can be flipped open to reveal a spinning model of Pluto surrounded by black and yellow diamonds to make it look like its in outer space. "Out of this world" is the only way to describe this one-of-one piece.
Savannah James’ Constellation Grill
Jeweler: Gabby Elan
Savannah James decided to follow in her husband’s footsteps and hit up Gabby Elan for a custom grill of her own. The main design covers two top teeth. VVS+ hearts and arrow cut diamonds have been arranged in 14kt rose gold to recreate the Virgo constellation (Savannah’s birthday is August 27). Along with the zodiac-inspired design, there is also a diamond-encrusted spacer meant to be worn between two teeth on the opposite side of her mouth. Yet another innovative approach to grills from the Gabby Elan family.
