To celebrate Skepta’s collaboration with Sotheby’s for their Contemporary Curated series, Skepta has teamed up with Denim Tears on exclusive apparel. Skepta’s first painting, which is featured in his curated auction for Sotheby’s, built the foundation for the garments seen throughout the collection. A graphic T-shirt featuring Skepta’s painting, titled ‘Mama Goes To Market,’ kicks off the collection. Hoodies, tote bags, scarfs, and Levi’s 501 jeans flip elements from Skepta’s painting into unique patterns. The jeans, tote bags and hoodies are all hand-painted in Los Angeles.
