Less than five months after opening on Orchard Street, the first U.S. Carlos Campos shop has closed its door. The reason for the closure remained unknown until after someone taped legal paperwork to the store window. According to the documents, the building's owner is evicting the shop and suing for $28,597.73 in unpaid rent. Guess things really don't come cheap in the Big Apple.
