Photographer Nick Knight will obtain images of black and clear water thrown at artist and actress Daphne Guinness with high speed cameras. Then, Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen will make a one-off couture dress based on the flowing water. This will occur during a live week-long broadcast happening on the fashion film and photography websiteSHOWstudio next month. The project is an extension of van Herpen's Crystallisationcollection shown at London Fashion Week in 2010. We can't wait. See a teaser video here.
