Street artist Jay Shells first got attention with his signs advocating modern social etiquette. Now, he's back with a street project that incorporates his love of hip-hop. Rap Quotes is a new series where the artist makes signs out of lyrics from rap songs describing specific street corners and locations. He then posts the signs in the places described in the verses. He has installed over 39 signs with lyrics from Jeru tha Damaja, Mos Def, Nas, Kanye West, and more. Watch Jay Shells discuss the project in the video below.
