In case you were unaware of the current proposal that would transform an abandoned trolley terminal beneath Delancey Street into a verdant underground park in the Lower East Side, well, now you know. The proposed plans for Low Line park has gained community support and raised more than $130,000 on Kickstarter. The money benefited is enough to fund a portion of the terminal, but more cash will be needed in order to convert Delancey's underground into a world class display on par with The High Line.
