This past weekend, the streets of DUMBO Brooklyn were transformed into an interactive playground for local art, film and music connoisseurs lucky enough to attend The Creators Project, a global arts and technology initiative created by Intel and Vice.
Visual artists utilitzed the creative spaces with amazing installations from Jonathan Glazer, Quayola, Mnha Yang, Black Dice + Animal Collective, Cantoni + Crescenti, U-Ram Choe, Zigelbaum +Coelho, SOFTLab and an awesome re-design of Coachella's main stage, a massive 30-foot-audio-visual cubical by United Visual Artists.
Film screenings included Arcade Fire and Spike Jonze's Scenes From The Suburbs, as well David Bowie, Mick Rock and Barney Clay's, Life On Mars Revisited.
A$ap Rocky + Clams Casino, Florence + The Machine, and Company Flow killed their performances Saturday night, but the evening unfortunately ended prematurely after NYPD shut down a live dj set from French electronic duo, Justice.
The Creators Project was an inspiring multimedia extravaganza that matched the international success of that in the UK, Germany, France, Brazil, South Korea and China. We had a blast participating in the interactive works, checking out live performances and taking some snaps of our own. Brooklyn, what up!
