Where it's at, I got two turntables and a microphone. Way before the days of Serato and advanced digital equipment, places like the Gaumont Palace would synchronize sound and film for as many as 4,000 guests. This was a big deal back in the 1900s and Gaumont in Paris was one of the first to design the chronophone with two record decks. Hit the thumbs to check out an original DJ mixer and cross fader from 1910. [Retronaut]
