adidas Originals is on its throwback grind.

For its fall/winter 2014 Blue collection, the sportswear giant is tapping into its most iconic streetwear styles made famous by hip-hop legends RUN DMC. But this isn’t a trite range of monochromatic track suits and bucket hats. Rather than re-release its signature 1980s threads, the brand has reinterpreted the clothes to better suit the tastes and lifestyles of the modern consumer.

Comprised of hoodies, varsity jackets, sweatshirts, and joggers, the line is notably influenced by contemporary Japanese streetwear. The casual tailoring and use of all-over tiger camo prints provide a refreshing contrast to the use of iconic detailing: the trefoil logo, the red, white, and black color scheme, as well as an updated version of the original RUN DMC adidas badge.
