The term "wearable tech" is quite the buzzword these days, and Opening Ceremony and mobile battery manufacturer mophie have teamed up for a piece that is sure to be a conversation starter.

The mophie for Opening Ceremony Varsity Jacket is a variation of an existing OC style that has been seen on the backs of everyone from Rihanna to Beyoncé to Chris Brown to Jessica Alba. The twist is that this new jacket will be outfitted with a mophie powerstation designed to charge any mobile device. The charging station will be linked to a charging cord that stays discreetly in the jacket's side pocket. Never again will you have to power up at a coffee shop or go through the night with a dead phone.

Opening Ceremony has a number of noteworthy collaborations under its belt, having previously worked with brands like Rodarte, Topshop, and Maison Martin Margiela. For mophie, this is the latest collaboration among its various fashion-centric partners, a list that includes Valentino and Swarovksi.

This super exclusive run of 100 jackets is now available at Opening Ceremony locations in New York and Los Angeles, as well as its online store. Hurry up and cop before your battery time runs out.
