H&M will team up with Coachella to produce its first H&M Loves Coachella clothing collection. An official sponsor of the festival for the past six years, H&M will sell the collection at 350 of its stores starting in March, as well as through its ecommerce site. There will also be a pop-up shop on the festival grounds that will sell exclusive merchandise.
H&M has already been producing festival wear for a few years under its H&M Loves Music collection that includes the style offerings that have become synonymous with outdoor music events, including leather jackets, tons of flannel and flower wreaths. It came under fire a few seasons ago for including a Native American-inspired headdress in its offerings, a piece that has since been banned by many festivals, including the Canadian Bass Coast, amidst concerns about cultural appropriation.
The H&M Loves Coachella collection will feature many festival basics including fringe, tunics, denim cutoffs and crop tops for the ladies, and graphic T-shirts and shorts for men. H&M will also be offering several all-inclusive trips to the festival in promotional giveaways that start in March—good news for all you procrastinators who didn't grab your tickets before they sold out.
Watch for the H&M Loves Coachella collection to drop starting Mar. 19.
