We all know that Jay-Z is a wealthy, wealthy man. Dropping dough on designer clothes and sneakers is as easy to him as lifting his pinky, breathing out, and probably even blinking. On his latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, there are a lot of style references he and other rappers drop. Given Jay-Z's financial status, it's a given that the stuff he wears can't exactly be bought at a mall. We're talking bespoke suits, and one-of-one pieces from high-end designers. That got us wondering—just how much money does Jay-Z invest in his current wadrobe?

Stance Socks

Approximate price: $14/pair

Stance Socks has become the de facto accessory for sneakerheads and skaters alike. With roots in action sports, they've since gained a following in the lifestyle category, establishing a presence as one of the best brands of 2013. They really do sublimated, all-over print socks well, from the Snapshot socks we've seen Jay-Z wear to collaborations with the Wu-Tang Clan.

Been Trill Snapback

Approximate price: $100

Been Trill and 40 Oz. NYC teamed up some enviable snapbacks that gave the classic Yankee cap a very #relevant makeover. The caps were so popular that they go on eBay for prices around $80-$150. Of course, we know that Jay-Z's been rocking Yankee hats for years, so perhaps that's what he's referring to when he says that he's "been trill."

Ray-Ban Wayfarers

The rapper's all-black-everything phase applied to his eyewear too. One of the most consistent pieces Jay-Z wears is the classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer.

Lebron 9 Mangos

Approximate price: $375

Jay-Z's eclectic sneaker game is all about classic kicks and representing winners, which is why it's no surprise he's been spotted courtside in Mango LeBron 9s. He might be a Nets man, but he still gives credit where it's due. Getting the same pair of kicks on the aftermarket will cost close to $400.

Jordan 1 "Brooklyn Zoo"

Jay-Z is no stranger to Air Jordan sneakers, but he's also got some crazy customs in his closet, like the "Brooklyn Zoo" Jordan 1s made by PMK from exotic animal skins.

Givenchy Clothes

Approximate price: $2,405

A Givenchy T-shirt alone costs $700. To make his cypher complete, Jay-Z needs to round that out with items like a sweatshirt ($665), black button-down ($495), and pants ($545). Quite the pricey ensemble, but probably chump change for the rapper.

Versace Plates

Approximate price: $14,400/dozen

At $1,200 each, Versace's Vanitas white plates cost a pretty penny. But of course Jay-Z and Beyoncé aren't necessarily eating alone. To account for dinner parties, having company over, and the like, we think they'd probably have a dozen in their kitchen.

Tom Ford Suit

Approximate price: $4,000

Tom Ford doesn't sell his menswear online. You'll have to go to an upscale boutique to even try it on. But even on the eBay aftermarket start around $1,000 and can go all the way up to $5,800 if you want the same suit Daniel Craig wore as James Bond in Skyfall. We're guessing Jay-Z got his custom, which can put a $2,500-$3,000 suit in the ballpark of $4,000 after tax and alterations.

Hublot Big Bang Watch

Approximate price: $5 million

Last year Beyoncé gave Jay-Z a Hublot Big Bang 5 million for his 43rd birthday. What separates this timepiece from its contemporaries? A 18K white gold enclosure and a stunning amount of 1,282 diamonds. Talk about ice. And yes, the "5 Million" does refer to the price tag.
