Former lawyers Brian Trunzo and Matt Breen developed a passion for quality men's clothing. Thanks to the Internet and its numerous men's style blogs, the two friends refined their taste to a point where tailored jackets and spread-collar shirts from brands like Ovadia & Sons could co-exist with high-class sneakers from Our Legacy. Earlier this year, they left the law world to open Carson Street Clothiers, which we said was one of the coolest stores in New York right now.

It's not just the clothes that make CSC so enticing, it's the overall environment. The exposed brick and rustic hardwood floors are a far cry from the typical sterile, fast-fashion chain store that now occupies most of SoHo's shoppable blocks. For our latest Cut and Show episode, we get a behind-the-scenes look at how Breen and Trunzo aren't just selling the coolest clothing brands on the block, they're fostering an environment where guys can hang out, be themselves, and perhaps leave looking a little better than when they walked in.
