London has a very focused aesthetic on both the menswear and streetwear fronts, and because of that, it’s no surprise that the city houses some of the most forward-thinking shops and brands in the game. From LN-CC to Supremebeing, London has a lock on which luxury and street designers are doing things right this season. We checked in with some of our favorite places in and around London to get their take on what’s trending on their streets right now.

American Streetwear
“There’s a recurrence of big, bold monochrome graphics on tees, crews, and outerwear. A general homage to U.S. streetwear is also very prevalent right now.” —Yoc, Supremebeing
Bold Statement Pieces
“The men of London are definitely branching out into wearing more color—either accents of color under a casual blazer, or a statement outerwear piece. They’re also wearing more textured and printed pieces, particularly on shirts and tees.” —Alastair Rae, Albam
Bomber Jackets
“As the weather has started to cool down over the last couple of weeks, we have all started layering up again. The bomber jacket has once again taken over the streets of London, in a variety of styles ranging from technical pieces to eye-catching all-over prints and classics made of luxury fabrics.” —Christophe Brumby, Oki-Ni
Color
“Combining a very considered and rich color palette is the best way to wear knitwear and tailoring this season. Brands have nailed the best color palettes this season with unexpected combinations and shades such as dusty blues, deep greens, burgundy, and acid yellow.” —Jack Cassidy, LN-CC
Interest in Details
“We are seeing a lot of interest in the details that make garments great; where they are made, how they are made, and specifically, the fabrics that are used in their creation. It seems like people are intrigued by garments that get better with age, and are ready to invest some time in how to get the best out of them.” —Alastair Rae, Albam
Loose Silhouettes
“We have seen many of the men’s brands we stock return to oversized layers, including big shirts worn untucked with long tails, voluminous coats, and wide legged trousers.” —Matthew Murphy, OTHER/shop
Luxury Sweatshirts
“No longer for those slouchy casual Sundays, smart sweats are now an important part of men’s wardrobes.” —Matthew Murphy, OTHER/shop
Unrolled Trousers
“Hems are coming back down. A more relaxed look after the rolled trouser cuff ran and ran. Trousers are either sitting on top of footwear with a small break, or with a slightly drawn in hem.” —Stephen Sanderson, Oi Polloi
Untraditional Winterwear
“Winter jackets are changing. Where traditionally big parkas are the thing this time of year, we’re opting for a winter bomber for a shorter, more sportier look. Woolen shirt jackets are proving popular for similar reasons, and work with the layered outerwear look that’s been around for a little while now.” —Stephen Sanderson, Oi Polloi
Waterproof Backpacks
“Backpacks are, of course, an everyday essential for any commuter. But in a city like London, where chances of rain are a given from September through to April, waterproof backpacks are turning out to be very popular.” —Christophe Brumby, Oki-Ni
