Mismo
FOUNDERS: Adam Bach and Rikke Overgaard
SINCE: 2006
WHY WE CO-SIGN: Known for making solid leather goods and accessories, Mismo bridges the gap between functional and minimal design. Since 2006, Mismo has been using natural materials with simple craftsmanship while blending in a luxe aesthetic. Be prepared to stack 'em chips because the canvas, full grain, seasonal style run for $400-500. The Artisan collection is fairly new which consists of belts and keyhangers. Another exciting brand out of Copenhagen with refined sophistication.
norse
Norse Projects
SINCE: 2002
FOUNDERS: Tobia Sloth, Anton Juul, and Mikkel Groennebaek
WHY WE CO-SIGN: Evolving from graphic T-Shirts and 5-panel hats, Norse Projects masters the minimal and functional basics that you can casually rock. The Fall/Winter 2011 collection draws inspiration from "low lights and crisp winds of the northern winter," testing the functionality of the new products in the rough and cold Danish cliffs of Møn in its lookbook.
soulland

SINCE: 2002
WHY WE CO-SIGN: First specializing in printed T-Shirts, Soulland has grown into a recognizable menswear label with a deep rooted Scandinavian craftsmanship. WHY WE CO-SIGN: Wood Wood is known for its vivid prints mixed with basic silhouettes, resulting in an avant-garde meets Northern European style.
