The store's owners, Marylynn Piotrowski and Jay Alaimo, set out to create a vintage shopping experience that harks back to the apothecary shops of old world Brooklyn. Piotrowski is no stranger to running a boutique; she co-founded sister store Tauk, a Montauk beach boutique. From American work wear to vintage motorcycles and accessories, SMITH + BUTLER has successfully defined the nomadic biker lifestyle.
Based in Carroll Gardens, SMITH + BUTLER has a rugged appeal that draws 1940's eclectic theme and inspired by vintage motorbikes. They are stocked with classic brands like A.P.C., Barbour, Belstaff, Levi's, Ray Ban, Red Wing and Woolrich that genuinely fit into the style and decor of the store.
