Yesterday, Timberland announced that it had cut ties with A.P.C. following Jean Touitou's remarks during his Fall/Winter 2015 men's presentation.

Up to that point, Touitou had remained silent about the issue. But, the designer has finally addressed his comments about a portion of the line, calling it "Last Ni**as in Paris."

"When describing our brand's latest collaboration, I spoke recklessly using terms that were both ignorant and offensive," he told GQ. "I apologize and am deeply regretful for my poor choice of words, which are in no way a reflection of my personal views."

UPDATE 1/29/2015: Jean Touitou uploaded a photo of a hand-written note with the same apologetic message to Instagram.
