Romain Gavras, known for directing music videos for Jay-Z and Kanye West, Justice, and of course, M.I.A., recently photographed M.I.A. for Jalouse Magazine's December/January cover. The direction appears to have been a regal one, as M.I.A. wears a gold cap resembling a crown and an elaborate gold and bright pink outfit. In the cover story, she discusses the deity (who bears the same name as her) who inspired and embodies her next album.
