Described as a "spring awakening" by artistic director of HUGO BOSS womenswear, Jason Wu, Marco Brambilla's new film THISISBOSS finds women in an untraditional, glowing forest. Following last year's Anthropocene film, made by Brambilla for HUGO BOSS' flagship store in Columbus Circle, THISISBOSS not only precedes HUGO BOSS' Spring/Summer 2015 NYFW show on September, it will be shown during it.
Set to Tchaikovsky’s "The Sleeping Beauty," the film was captured in a Canadian nature preserve and stars model Suvi Koponen. In addition to uniting nature and technology, it fuses classical and hi-tech imagery in the crisp, hypnotic way that Brambilla does best.
We're looking forward to more Brambilla x HUGO BOSS, especially as they enter a more fashion-focused realm.
