Back in December, Nike refreshed its ACG line with a promise to "define sport utility for the city." With this Spring 2015 collection, its second since the re-launch, NikeLab ACG has more than made good on its word.
The new collection features stylish cuts and construction, courtesy of Acronym co-founder Errolson Hugh, merged with Nike's high-tech fabrics. The new range includes styles, like sweatpants, T-shirts, and sneakers, that are quickly becoming staples in the ACG line. The collection also offers two new styles: a bomber jacket and crewneck sweatshirt. Nike's cutting-edge materials, such as Tech Fleece, Dri-FIT Wool, and Flyknit, are used throughout the collection.
ACG stands for All Condition Gear, and Hugh highlights this versatility in the new pieces with both fit and fabrication. "The bomber jacket is probably one of the most iconic pieces of apparel there is. It's one of those items that is at home in almost any situation, from super casual to semi-formal,” Hugh says. The ACG bomber is equipped with WindStopper technology and a fleece lining, so it will keep the wearer protected in any weather condition.
