The death toll is still unknown, and certain keywords involving that date have been blacked out on microblogging sites like Weibo. One of the most iconic photographs of all time is of a student standing in the middle of the street with military tanks approaching. To avoid censorship by posting that photo on the anniversary, Weibo users recreated it with memes.
