When Kanye West announced the title of his highly anticipated seventh solo album a week ago, he tweeted the words "So Help Me God" and a photo of the 13th century monastic symbol for the Virgin Mary. The symbol has since appeared on iTunes as the single art for "All Day."

Recent photos of Kanye show that he has a new tattoo of the symbol on his right forearm. Back in February, Kanye got his mother Donda West and his daughter North's birthdays tattooed on his wrists after coordinating for a year and a half with Maxime Buchi and finally meeting the artist at his London shop. When we spoke to Buchi, he explained how Kanye chose the lettering from a book on traditional engravings and how they spoke about his album and his life, but he did not mention Kanye's plans to get the monastic symbol, so it's unclear whether or not the piece was done by another artist.
